This is the second workshop from the OU as part of Institute of Coding project. The Open University as part of Institute of Coding project is running a number of workshops to work with Industry and communities to help in understanding the employability gap and skills needed to support current and future businesses and communities. The Institute of Coding is a large national project that includes over 20 HEIs and 60 Industrial partners that started in March 2018.
No knowledge of Cyber Security is required to attend the workshop but an interest in future employment skills needed to provide a sustainable competitive workforce and social cohesion. The event has been organised to bring together Local Businesses and Communities with an interest in knowing more about Cyber Security and sharing insight to help us to develop appropriate resources to ensure an inclusive access to the knowledge and skills in these advancing technical areas that impact most, if not all of us.
This event will take place on Thursday the 28th of February 2019 from 09:45 – 16:00. Further details to be confirmed closer to the day.
